I am sending you a discussion of the Brothers, Sisters-in-law and Son of your Most Prized Columnist, Ramon TULFO. The question remains: why do you keep Ramon Tulfo who himself and his family members are LIARS and EXTORTIONISTS, as a Prized Columnist, TO CONTINUE SPREADING LIES, Poisoning the Minds of THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of FILIPINO READERS”?

It is a Philippine Media PHENOMENON that is both PUZZLING and MYSTERIOUS!!!

In late March and early ApriI 2007, I circulated, through the Internet, a discussion that

Ramon, Raffy and Erwin: EXTORTIONSTS!!!

Sometime in mid-2006, JIMMY SALGADO, long time agent, runner and EXTORTION Collector of the TULFO Brothers (Ramon, Raffy and Erwin) at Customs revealed to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) that he collected, for the TULFO Brothers, more than P600,000.00 monthly EXTORTION MONEY from several CUSTOMS OFFICIALS and EMPLOYEES!!!

JIMMY SALGADO started at Customs as a UTILITY MAN assigned at Customs by the Employment Agency that hired him. Soon he became the runner and agent and EXTORTION Collector of the TULFO Brothers and REY LANGIT (the SMUGGLER). He was given an assignment by Rey Langit as a “radio reporter,” his LICENSE to go anywhere INSIDE any CUSTOMS Office or Facility (e.g. Warehouse) for INTIMIDATION and EXTORTION PURPOSES!!!

After a few years working for the TULFO Brothers and REY LANGIT, SALGADO became himself a MULTIMILLIONAIRE, being driven, in the latest SUV, to Customs Ports at the Manila Harbors with several MILITARY MEN in active duty as his BODYGUARDS!!!

In my book, “The PRESIDENT and Her MEN KISS the ASS of RAMON TULFO” Salgado is mentioned over 30 times.


CUSTOMS COMMISSIONERS FEAR, KISS the ASS of JIMMY SALGADO


Starting on page 27 of the book is a discussion on How CUSTOMS COMMISSIONERS (specifically Atty. George Jereos and later Atty. Antonio Bernardo) Deputy Commissioners, Collectors and other High Customs Officials FEAR and KISS THE ASS OF JIMMY SALGADO!!!

In 2002, Salgado, who could barely write straight English, SUDDENLY became the PUBLISHER of the most expensive CUSTOMS Weekly Tabloid, TRADE WINDS. It was the successor of the most circulated and most powerful Customs Weekly Tabloid, the CUSTOMSWEEK, owned and edited by the late BUBBY DACER.

Salgado BRAGGED that during the first two years of TRADE WINDS, he was spending P530,000 every month to put out the 12-page weekly tabloid


A paper circulated at Customs Ports in early 2002 explicitly declared that the tabloids circulated at Customs were
owned by SMUGGLERS/BROKERS!!!



II RAMON TULFO SON in P1,000,000.00 EXTORTION!!!


ABS-CBN News reported on Friday (April 13, 2007) that Patrick TULFO, son of Philippine Daily Inquirer Prized Columnist RAMON TULFO, was involved in a P1,000,000.00 EXTORTION from an American Call Center owner.

The report said that Makati Police was set to file a charge of extortion against Patrick TULFO, a certain Erickson TULFO and a TV cameraman identified with Patrick Tulfo, Crisanto Jumadas.

ABS-CBN News reported that on Thursday, April 12, 2007, a cameraman of the son of a hard hitting veteran journalist was arrested in an entrapment operation in Makati City.

The cameraman, nabbed by the Makati Police, is Crisanto Jumadas, described as “cameraman of Patrick Tulfo’s “Rapido ni Tulfo” aired over RJTV.

Jumadas was nabbed by the Makati Police, based on the complaint of an American owner of a Call Center who alleged that the media man was extorting money from him amounting to P1,000,000.00 to prevent an expose on his business

A Makati Policeman reported that it was alleged that the Call Center “is engaged in the production of “pornographic materials” and that “they will expose this if the Call Center owner will not give them the money.”

ABS-CBN News reported that the entrapment operation was conducted Thursday when Tulfo cameraman Jumadas received P500,000.00 from the Call Center’s accountant in a coffee shop in Makati City.

Jumadas was immediately arrested after he went to a parked vehicle.

Police said the vehicle was immediately driven away after Jumadas was apprehended.

Police said they recovered only P50,000.00 from Jumadas and suspected that the rest of the money was passed on to the driver of the vehicle who they said was a certain Erickson Tulfo.

Patrtick Tulfo denied the whole thing, saying it was the Call Center’s owner who bribed them so that they would not expose his business. Tulfo elaborated that they wanted to capture on camera the bribery.

The involvement of a Tulfo son in extortion is not surprising.

Even the Tulfo wives have been reported to be involved in the extortion activities of the Tulfo brothers, specifically Raffy and Erwin.



III TULFO WIVES in EXTORTION


TULFO WIVES, like the Wife of REY LANGIT who was very active in the Langit Family SMUGGLING Operations, are also involved in the Massive and Widespread TULFO EXTORTION.

If NBI documents and newspaper reports are to be believed, the TULFO WIVES play major roles in the TULFO Brothers’ EXTORTION Enterprises.

ERWIN TULFO WIFE in EXTORTION

Jimmy Salgado in his August 18, 2006 Sworn Statement executed at the Special Task Force Office of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in Manila said that Erwin Tulfo extorted money from Customs to defray HOSPITAL EXPENSES of his WIFE about to GIVE BIRTH. (Incidentally, occasions of family extraordinary expenses are some of the reasons for the TULFO Extortions. For example, a document submitted to Customs Authorities several years ago tells of an extortion of $1,000.00 for expenses of Raffy Tulfo scheduled to travel to U.S.A.).

In QUESTION NUMBER 12 in Salgado’s Sworn Statement, we read the following (for brevity we translate to English the questions and answers which, in the original, were in Pilipino): “as to ERWIN TULFO, why did you say that he has something to do with threatening and squeezing (extorting) at the Bureau of Customs?”.

ANSWER: “Because last year, ERWIN TULFO told (asked) me “JIM ARE THERE PEOPLE FROM WHOM WE CAN ASK FOR HELP FOR MY WIFE ABOUT TO GIVE BIRTH?” So what I did was I approached the examiners, appraisers and people whose names I could not now recall and they gave money to give to ERWIN TULFO, and ERWIN TULFO received them. After some time, ERWIN got mad at me because I stopped collecting for him.”


ERWIN TULFO DEFENDS RAFFY TULFO’S WIFE in EXTORTION


Because Raffy Tulfo, since he was fired from the Abante publications of the Macasaets, could not answer back printed reports against his “integrity,” Erwin Tulfo USED HIS COLUMNS at the People’s TONIGHT of the Philippine Journalists, Inc. to defend his brother Raffy Tulfo and Raffy’s wife, Jocelyn

Erwin Tulfo DEFENDED his brothers Ramon Tulfo and Raffy Tulfo who were sued by Customs Officer Lourdes Mangaoang. for “GRAVE THREATS AND EXTORTION.” Erwin said that Mangaoang claimed Ramon and Raffy Tulfo extorted money from her so that she would not be subjected to attacks by the Tulfos in their radio programs.

Erwin Tulfo ADMITTED that he himself USED HIS COLUMN TO ATTACK MANGAOANG!!!

Erwin said that it is Mangaoang who is harassing his brothers!!!

Erwin expressed the fear that MANGAOANG is using the LAW to HARASS the TULFO Brothers!!!

Mangaoang claimed that aside from Ramon Tulfo and Raffy Tulfo, Raffy’s wife, Jocelyn Pua-Tulfo, is also part of the extorting enterprise.

Erwin used his People’s TONIGHT column to DEFEND the wife of Raffy Tulfo, Jocelyn Pua-Tulfo.

In his defense of Mrs. Raffy Tuflo, Erwin said that Jocelyn Pua is A CHILD OF A RICH BUSINESSMAN from Cauayan City (where, by the way, Raffy Tulfo filed his libel case against me) and OWNER OF VAST TRACKS OF RICELAND in the place.

Erwin Tulfo insinuates that since Mrs. Raffy Tulfo comes from a rich family, she could not be an extortionist. The clear implication is ONLY POOR PEOPLE COULD BE EXTORTIONISTS.

Erwin said that if Mrs. Raffy Tulfo asked P5,000 from Mangaoang, it was for the public service center of Raffy Tulfo, for the purchase of a wheelchair when Raffy Tulfo had a radio program at station DZXL

This defense of Raffy Tulfo by Erwin Tulfo SHOWS HOW ERWIN TULFO INSULTS FILIPINO READERS!!!

He thinks that Filipinos think that ONLY THE POOR ARE CAPABLE OF EXTORTION, That RICH PEOPLE DO NOT COMMIT CRIMES LIKE EXTORTION.

Truly the TULFOS, as I described Raffy Tulfo in the First Chapter of my book “Liars, Intimidators and Extortionists in Philippine Media,” are “SINUNGALING NA, BOBO PA” (Raffy Tulfo is Extremely Stupid in addition to being a Liar).
